These options have long been available in RPGs, with titles as old as taking care to include them. This makes their absence in Portkey Games' latest release especially odd, and it actively harms the player's experience.
Thankfully, most character customization options in are conversely quite expansive. The convenient transmog system, which allows students to dress themselves however they please without sacrificing stats or perks, has ensured that players are able to express themselves (at least in 1890s fashion). Wand customization has minimal impact on gameplay too, but it features an endless number of combinations. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for s character creation menu, which leaves a lot to be desired.

Despite these features being an integral part of anyone's face (and by extension, identity), the only way players can change them is by selecting one of the few default character models and working from there. These limitations in 's character creation can feel frustrating and out of place, especially among the many options that are offered for face shape, eye color, and hairstyle.
