Hogwarts Legacy: How To Solve The Clock Tower Puzzle
Hogwarts Castle’s Clock Tower holds one of biggest puzzles, which players can solve to receive collections, gear, and Galleons. The Clock Tower Puzzle is one of three major secret puzzles players can find in Hogwarts, and completing it allows players to progress an exploration challenge related to finding the castle’s best-kept secrets. To solve the Clock Tower Puzzle, players must use their spells on the giant pendulum in the Clock Tower to open secret rooms containing useful loot.
Of the three major secret puzzles in Hogwarts, including Bridge Puzzle, the Hogwarts Clock Tower Puzzle is the most time-consuming and complex. To solve it, players must already have learned Alohomora from Hogwarts caretaker Gladwin Moon during, and Arresto Momentum. To start solving this puzzle, players should head to the Clock Tower Courtyard Floo Flame in the South Wing.

Players will find themselves in a big open room with a giant swinging pendulum. Looking up, players should be able to spot one of flying Field Guide Pages. On the opposite side of the room, players should spot a door with a gate marked with a unicorn symbol.
Every so often, the gate over the door will start to open before slamming shut. Players should check the floor beneath the pendulum, where they’ll find four symbols etched into the stone.
To open doors, players must cast Arresto Momentum on the pendulum to freeze it as it passes over the symbol that matches the one on the gate.
