Garreth Weasley needs the Fwooper Feather to complete one of Sharpe's assignments during class, so players are put into a dilemma to either help the student or let them flounder. Either decision leads to a different interaction with both Garreth and Sharpe, giving players a slight deviation in dialogue that gives more flavor to how NPC's perceive their character.
The player's first Potions Class takes place as a main story quest in early, where only a few spells have been learned. Taking the Fwooper Feather does give aid to Garreth, but it does cause Professor Sharper to publicly scold a player's character in the class, leading to some degree of embarrassment. On the other hand, the Weasley family member has a negative reaction toward the player if they choose not to steal the Fwooper Feather, but will claim to be fine as they try to find another solution to their problem.

Unfortunately for the player, there are no real consequences for choosing to steal the Fwooper Feather or not. While the changes in dialogue appear between both Garreth and Sharpe, the theft of the Fwooper Feather potion ingredient in , or lack thereof, does not change the quests or conversation options related to them in parts of the story later. With no real repercussions, players are free to pick whichever option appeals to them at that moment with little to no worry about what happens after.
