There's plenty to do and discover in the wide world of , but as the player lives out their wizarding dreams, there are some side quests that they absolutely should not skip out on. Whether it's providing engaging gameplay, deeper insight into character's lives and backstories, or a worthwhile reward (or a combination of the three), these missions truly make the game come to life, and students should aim to squeeze them in between classes.
Unfortunately, many side quests in tend to be quite similar, in that they're simple fetch quests without much backstory or unique gameplay. This problem is by no means unique to this game, as many other RPG titles fall victim to this developmental oversight, too. Luckily, much of the magic of this prequel comes from experiencing the intricate replica of the school first-hand, as well as exploring the expanse of 's large map. But in the way of side quests, there are ten specific activities that players will find are well worth their time.

One of the most distinct aspects of is filling Vivariums with all sorts of magical beasts — but it doesn't get more magical than a unicorn. These horned mares are quite prevalent in the world of, with unicorn blood being a highly sought-after substance, and with unicorn hairs even being at the core of many witches' and wizards' wands.
Now, it's even possible for players to tame and take care of their very own unicorn, Hazel, through "" quest. It's certainly on the shorter side, but the reward is disproportionately good.
