Hogwarts Legacy has emerged as the biggest game for WB Games merely weeks after launch, according to the company's recent sales figures. Even though it's barely a month old, Hogwarts Legacy has already managed to set several records as fans around the world look to experience Avalanche Software's open-world RPG.
Of course, the reception to Hogwarts Legacy may not be surprising considering the title already broke the Twitch record for the most-watched single-player game on the platform. Shortly after breaking the record, Hogwarts Legacy became the biggest WB Games title on Steam, peaking at 489,139 concurrent players. Now, sales figures from WB Games indicate that the game has gone on to become just as massive across other platforms, as well.

According to the company, Hogwarts Legacy has earned WB Games $850 million in global sales to date. The game has managed to sell over 12 million units within two weeks of its launch across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. This is recorded as Warner Bros. Discovery's biggest global launch as a brand. Recently, last year's massively popular RPG Elden Ring crossed 20 million units in sales. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Hogwarts Legacy has so far managed to outpace Elden Ring as well as break a 22-year-old sales record for the IP in the UK.
Prior to the sales figure, WB Games unveiled notable stats for Hogwarts Legacy. As per the company's president David Haddad, the game has been played for over 267 million hours in the two weeks of its launch. Among the in-game activities, players have defeated 1.25 billion dark wizards, grown 393 million magical plants, and brewed over 242 million potions, to name a few.
