Gnomeregan Raid Item Datamined in WoW Classic: Season of Discovery
During the WoWCast Interview, Blizzard told us that Gnomeregan was planned as the next Season of Discovery raid at level 40, following the initial level 25 phase ending with Blackfathom Deeps. This means players probably won't have normal access to the regular Gnomeregan dungeon, which might be hard on some classes that rely on particular drops, even in the late stages of the game.
However, alongside many other exciting new items in Season of Discovery, we're already finding items which appear to be related to the upcoming level 40 Gnomeregan raid, including a new and improved version of one extremely important item for Druids...
That's right, the Manual Crowd Pummeler is back with a brand new and improved version, the Automatic Crowd Pummeler! While the stats are unchanged, the 10-player raid version now has unlimited charges, so players won't have to live inside the instance and fill their bags with duplicates just to play their class.
Interestingly, this does come with a minor opportunity cost, however, as the item is only usable by Paladins, Shaman, and Druids — presumably to avoid other classes trying to take advantage of its unique buff. While players will have to wait until the next phase of Season of Discovery to use it, this is a major quality of life increase, particularly for Feral Druids!
