Ghost of Tsushima is finally on PC, and it only took a few days for it to become Sony's biggest single-player launch on Steam. The open-world samurai game has beaten out God of War and Marvel's Spider-Man to become the PlayStation's best-performing solo adventure.
Released on May 16 as the definitive Director's Cut edition and ported by Nixxes Software, Ghost of Tsushima reached a 24-hour peak concurrent player count of 77,154 (thanks GamesRadar+). As of the time of writing, 65,295 players are currently making their way through feudal Japan, so it's still keeping up some big numbers.
That's not to say it's a bad game, because it's superb, but Sony has also had God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man and Miles Morales, as well as both Horizon titles, ported over to PC in recent years. Spider-Man in particular is one of Sony's biggest titles, with Insomniac noting that the series had reached 50 million units sold, of which 40 million are from the first game and Miles Morales.
It's possible that Ghost of Tsushima's Steam release is benefiting from being an all-encompassing package. The Director's Cut features the full base game as well as the Legends multiplayer mode as well as the Iki Island expansion, making it a serious bang-for-your-buck offering.

Just look how worked up everyone got about it over the past few weeks.
With rumors swirling about a PlayStation Showcase happening soon, it potentially won't be long before Ghost of Tsushima 2 news is around. And if this is how well the first game has performed on Steam, then the second will no doubt be a massive hit.
Placing you loosely into real history, you take on the role as the Jin Sakai, a lone warrior
