Fortnite has played host to some pretty impactful weapons over the years. You could even get your hands on Thanos's Infinity Gauntlet at one point. While it won't wipe out half of all life with a snap of your fingers, the Mythic Havoc Pump Shotgun also packs a punch. Well, it packs a little less punch now as this week's update has nerfed the powerful gun.
The shotgun deals 144 damage if you land a good hit on a rival close-up, but it's a well-placed shot to the head that really makes the Mythic Havoc Pump worth seeking out. 250 damage in a single shot which means it can kill an opponent in one hit, even if their health and shields are full. That's no longer the case as this week's update has dropped the shotgun's max damage from 250 to 210.

I know, heartbreaking, right? The gun can no longer take out a fully charged enemy in one hit thanks to the additional 50 health players have via the overshield. In defense of the nerf, if you're close enough to land a shotgun headshot on someone that deals 210 damage, you'll probably be prepared to hit another shot to finish them off. That's unless you're dealing with some damage of your own and the weakened opponent isn't left in a state of shock by almost all of their health and shield being depleted in the blink of an eye.
