Last month, reports began circulating that Rocksteady’s next project would be delayed from its May 26 release date, after having already been pushed back from its original 2022 launch window.
With just over a month until the DC-based co-op shooter was supposed to launch, many were left wondering about the legitimacy of the reported delay. Now, Rocksteady has officially confirmed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has a new release date of February 2, 2024, in order to ensure the “best quality experience for players.” The upcoming Arkhamverse game will take place five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight, as Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark and Deadshot must work together to stop Brainiac and the mind-controlled members of the Justice League. The first lengthy look at gameplay was shown during a State of Play this past February.
