The long-in-development Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed until 2024.
That's according to a post on Twitter from the game's official account, which revealed that the title would be launching on February 2nd of next year. The Suicide Squad project was initially set to be released in 2022, but was bumped until spring of 2023. Eventually, it was given a May 26th release date.
After a gameplay demonstration earlier this year, there were reports that the game had been delayed to give polish.
"We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experiences for players," developer Rocksteady wrote on Twitter.
"Thank you to our amazing community for the continued support, patience and understanding. There is much more to share in the months ahead and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year."
