Exciting news for fans of both Doctor Who and Fortnite, as a crossover between the two might just be on the horizon. According to Fortnite leaker and dataminer iFireMonkey, a "potential collaboration" between the Doctor Who and Fortnite is currently set to take place in the form of a two week long special event.
The event in question will reportedly include a set of free rewards for completing challenges, as well as item shop cosmetics. iFireMonkey revealed there will be two skins, two pickaxes, one glider, and an emote up for grabs. The leaker also teased that a free Beep the Meep spray will soon be available as an added incentive for players to check out the new map associated with the rumored collaboration.

“It has recently been brought to my attention that there have been discussions in regards to a potential collaboration between Fortnite and Doctor Who,” iFireMonkey explained on Twitter. “Based on what I'm aware of, this would be a two week long event in game featuring a set of free rewards for completing challenges as well as item shop cosmetics.”
The potential collaboration is expected to tie into the sixtieth anniversary of Doctor Who, currently set to take place towards the end of this year. Rumors have been making the rounds to the effect that Doctor Who's long time friends in U.N.I.T. may also be involved. “This is most likely planned for November, since things like Beep the Meep have a lot of relevance towards the sixtieth anniversary specials for Doctor Who,” iFireMonkey remarked about the matter.
