2022 was a massive year for Sonic and it closed with rumors that the blue blur would be getting a selection of new Lego sets in 2023. Those rumors have now been confirmed to be accurate as the world's fastest hedgehog will be getting no fewer than four sets, all launching this August. Among them will be dedicated sets for Tails and Amy, two Sonic characters who were not immortalized in Lego via the last official Sonic set which included the lead character and Dr. Robotnik.
The first look at all four sets dropping this August comes courtesy of Jay's Brick Blog. There you'll find photos of all the Sonic sets coming this summer, headlined by the Sonic Sphere Speed Challenge. The set includes Sonic, just in case you don't own the original set, a launcher, and even a lounger so the hedgehog can kick back and relax once he's done speeding around. Plus, the first-ever Lego Flicky to sit alongside him.

The most exciting additions to Sonic's Lego world are the new characters. Tails enters the fray and he'll be bringing his workshop along with him, not to mention the Tornado Plane first introduced in Sonic 2 and last seen in Frontiers. An iconic vehicle featured prominently throughout Sonic history which you can now build yourself using Lego. The Tails set also includes its own Sonic, and I think I spy a Chaos Emerald on the counter.
Amy is getting her own set too. An Animal Rescue Island and the first set that doesn't come with a Sonic, but it will have both Tails and Amy, not to mention another Flicky.
