The year is 2023, and Dead Island 2 is an actual video game that just released. If you can still remember the project's initial teaser trailer for all those years ago, then you might find this whole situation quite surreal. The craziest part, though? Against all odds, the game's actually good fun.
We gave this latest zombie-smushing hack and slasher a respectable 7/10 in our Dead Island 2 PS5 review, calling it «a refreshing surprise». We praised its «killer setting, brutal melee combat, and stunning graphics».

Game looks great but I just have to much to finish.
Had to choose between Jedi Survivor and Dead Island 2 and i picked Jedi for this months big gaming buy. I do plan on getting it though i just don't know when.
I'm not sure how long before swinging at zeds can get boring? Anyone?

Only a week until SW Jedi survivor, then Redfall just a few days later…so Dead Island 2 has to wait I’m afraid. Probably get it down the road in a sale.
I'll likely get it sometime in the future when the price drops a bit.
