Cosy tidy ’em up A Little to the Left is getting a fresh batch of messes to sort through with the Cupboards & Drawers DLC set to come out in June – we don’t have a precise release date – for Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac.
A Little to the Left: Cupboards & Drawers will feature 25 new puzzles to sift through, all inspired what turned out to be some of the more popular puzzles from the original game. There will be junk drawers, dressers, jewellery boxes, sewing kits, fishing tackle boxes, fountain pen collections and more, with multi-layered puzzles featuring hidden compartments and more interactive elements to figure out.
“Player feedback was loud and clear: by an overwhelming majority, the drawer puzzle was the clear favourite from A Little to the Left,” says Max Inferno co-founder Anne Macmillan. “In A Little to the Left: Cupboards & Drawers we want to give fans more of the puzzle types they love but with some extra-satisfying twists. We’ve heightened the complexity—but not the difficulty—by introducing tactile layers such as operable drawers and hidden compartments nestled deep within puzzles.”
A Little to the Left launched last year, bringing a rather unique tone and feel to its organisational puzzles, many of which could be completed to your personal tastes. In our A Little to the Left review, I said, “A Little to the Left is a charming and refreshingly cosy puzzle game to sink into. From the tone of the puzzles to the mischievous intrusions of a fluffy white cat, it’s a simple delight, only let down by a few more obscure puzzles and fussy controls for certain object interactions.”
