There's a new mega-dungeon coming in Patch 10.1.5: Fractures in Time. Dawn of the Infinite will be an eight-boss Mythic-only mega-dungeon taking players across time to face Galakrond, Iridikon, and stop the infinite dragonflight from transforming Nozdormu into Murazond!
The Infinite Dragonflight, long-standing enemies of the Bronze dragonflight, have worked hard to see their ultimate goal of triggering the transformation of Nozdormu, the Aspect of Time, into Murazond. This eight-boss Mythic-only mega-dungeon will take players across the timeways to stop the Infinite Dragonflight from succeeding. You’ll face Iridikron and Galakrond, among others, as you work to sustain Azeroth’s timeline and put things to rights once more.We haven't heard much from the Infinite Dragonflight since encountering them inside Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr at the start of Dragonflight, but there's been a lot of discussion and speculation as to where that story might go. Of course, we still know that their ultimate goal is to turn Nozdormu into Murazond, but the teaser here suggests that the Primal Incarnates interests align with their goals, specifying that we would face Iridikron and Galakrond inside the dungeon. The Fractures in Time teaser image also features a giant dragon skull which looks a lot like Galakrond. Iridikron using the timeways to bring back Galakrond seems obvious, but more interesting here is the question of whether we will actually stop and defeat Iridikron entirely inside the mega-dungeon, rather than in a raid setting. With three Primalists still on the loose, it feels like we're going to have to work overtime in order to defeat them before the Dragonflight expansion ends!
