The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Mucktorok boss will be your foe once you're done with the Lanaryu Water Temple Puzzle. This fight will make use of Sidon's abilities, with his Water Bubble that negates one instance of damage, and a means of casting a water projectile to clean the sludge.
The tiny thing called Mucktorok is your main target, but it also rides a Sludge Shark. It will circle the arena for a few seconds before doing these types of attacks:
The best weapon type to use when fighting Mucktorok
We recommend using a spear weapon when fighting the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Mucktorok boss. This is because, when used in conjunction with Sidon's Water Bubble, it shoots out a projectile in a straight line, and it travels further, too. As such, you can just hold ZL to keep focused on the shark's movements. Then, when it's about to do any ability, just do any normal attack. The water projectile should hit it.
Doing damage to Mucktorok and dealing with Phase 2
When the shark gets stunned, Mucktorok will run around. Shoot it with an arrow to stun it as well. This will allow you to smack it around with your melee weapon. If you only have a few spears, make sure you switch to something else for regular DPS. Save the spear for the shark stuns that you need to do.
