Nic Cage Will Be A Playable Character In Dead By Daylight

Just when you thought that video games couldn’t get any weirder or wilder, you’re shown something that truly boggles the mind and makes you question everything you have learned. Dead By Daylight has been an incredibly long-lasting title for the simple reason that they bring in new killers for you to portray or flee from at regular intervals. They’ve even brought in legendary horror figures from movies to help make the game feel like a true “monstrous crossover” with the films and series that inspired its core concept. But now, they’re about to get their biggest star ever, and his name is Nic Cage!

That’s right. The legendary actor, who has done much in his career, for better and for worse, has been announced to be joining the game in some capacity. We don’t know specifically if he’ll be one of the “killers” in the game, but given that all previous reveals have been about the killer characters, it would be odd if that wasn’t the case. More inferences to him being a killer is the spooky nature of the reveal, including the director’s chair being knocked over and Cage’s voice talking about how imagination can change everything you know. That would line up with a killer in the game and could speak to the potential powers that Cage would have as one of them.
