Angry Birds Just Did A Smash Or Pass Challenge And It's Weirding Everyone Out
Angry Birds is no stranger to a weird marketing campaign. It's desire to remain relevant on social media has led it to some truly strange places, including a brief, light-hearted Twitter beef with indie darling Cult of the Lamb. It has a very chaotic presence on social media, something which frequent users of Twitter or TikTok will know very well, but even the most chronically online individual probably didn't expect the game's main character to upload a Smash or Pass challenge to the game's official TikTok page.
The video itself stars Red as he sits in front of a computer and rates whether he'd Smash or Pass several iconic video game characters, and the result is everyone discovering far too much about Angry Birds' famous mascot. It appears as though Red doesn't have a particular type, as he decides to smash characters such as Princess Zelda, Bayonetta, Samus, Ezio Auditore, Elena from the Uncharted series, Mettaton EX from Undertale, and Minecraft Steve.

There's quite a wide range of passes from Red as well, as he doesn't much care for Tracer from Overwatch, Junko Enoshima from the Danganronpa series, or Link. Thankfully, he also passes on Pitt from Kid Icarus and Red from the Pokemon series due to them being literal children, and also proves that "no" isn't the worst thing you can hear when being turned down by brutally dragging Noctis from Final Fantasy 15 through the mud.
The TikTok's caption asks if anyone has any "violent reactions" to this video, and that's exactly what's happened.
