The drop dash is a little-known ability in Sonic's arsenal. As it happens, boosting isn't the only way of traversing in Sonic Frontiers, as a well-timed jump can cause Sonic to gain momentum as soon as he touches the ground, blasting off into whatever direction he's facing. However, even fewer players have realised its potential,
One player has, and has shown off how drop dashing can be used to build up incredible speeds with pretty much no limit, making easy work of getting to the other side of the island. This is much faster than using Sonic's ordinary boost dash, helping the blue blur live up to his name of the fastest thing alive.
