Ian Flynn is a familiar name to fans in the Sonic the Hedgehog community, as he’s the scribe behind a number of stories, including comics, television shows, and games. Most recently he penned the plot to Sonic Frontiers, the most recent PS5 and PS4 game which enjoyed a pretty positive reception from players. And now he’s announced that he’ll return for the release’s previously announced story DLC.
According to Flynn, the general outline of the plot was given to him by game director Morio Kishimoto, and his role is to flesh it all out. He added, however, that the content will be “truly important” and not just throwaway filler. “As before, the events and key details were supplied by Kishimoto-san and my job was to flesh it out,” he said. “The DLC will be truly important.”
