It seem as though Persona 5 — that's the base game, not to be confused with Persona 5 Royal — has found its way back to the PS Plus Collection...but only in select regions at the time of writing. From what we can tell (and as spotted by ResetEra), the RPG has returned to the soon-to-be defunct collection in Brazil and other South American countries, which makes us wonder whether it'll soon be reinstated elsewhere.
Persona 5 was weirdly removed from the PS Plus Collection back in May of last year, and we never really found out why. It was speculated that Atlus pulled the title ahead of releasing Persona 5 Royal on PS5 and other platforms. If true, it would make Persona 5's sudden return all the stranger.
And just as a reminder, the PS Plus Collection will no longer be a thing from the 9th May. Remember to add its games to your library before they're gone!
