Final Fantasy Tactics Director Says There Are No Remaster Plans Before Backpedaling Slightly
There are no plans to remaster Final Fantasy Tactics, although the game was part of the massive GeForce NOW leak that proved to be extremely on point regarding Square Enix games.
On X/Twitter, the game's director Yasumi Matsuno answered a fan question yesterday, saying that there are no plans to remaster the excellent tactical turn-based game. Earlier today, however, he commented on the matter again, saying that even if one has information, it is not possible to divulge it until the official announcement.

Concerning a possible Final Fantasy Tactics remaster. Could you add a progression system to the Ultima spell? The idea is that if you use it enough times, you learn and can use the upgraded versions Altima uses.
