The Xbox Games Showcase is right around the corner, and as tends to be the case with most events of this stature, expectations are high. Of course, many are hoping that the litany of first party games that Microsoft has had announced for a year but provided little to no updates on will finally get some more time in the sun, and it seems like at least two of them will indeed be showcased at the event tomorrow- and two pretty major ones at that.
As per a report published by Gamereactor, both Avowed and Fable have reveals scheduled for the Xbox Games Showcase tomorrow. As per the report, neither of the two will have CG trailers (which aligns with what Xbox exec Aaron Greenberg said recently), but will instead give “an indication” of what the actual games will look and play like- what that means about how meaty these trailers will be remains to be seen.
The report also mentions a reveal for Persona 3 Reload, which, of course, is an announcement that got fully leaked by Atlus itself. The developer also accidentally leaked the announcement trailer for spinoff tactics game Persona 5 Tactica.
It was recently confirmed that the combined runtime of the Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct (which will immediately follow the showcase) will be about two hours- read more on that through here.
