EA Sports has finally made its return to the links with EA Sports PGA Tour. The rebranded sports sim technically has multiple release dates. The Deluxe edition grants early access starting tomorrow, April 4, while the standard edition launches this Friday, April 7. However, if you're an EA Play subscriber, which comes with all Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions, you can start playing your 10-hour free trial a day early--as in right now. Golf fans will still want to purchase a copy of the game, though. Preorders are still available for both editions, and there's still a little time left to secure some neat preorder bonuses.
With 30 real-life courses rendered with stunning accuracy, an impressive lineup of PGA and LPGA stars, and a career mode that will feature all four Major championships, EA Sports PGA Tour certainly sounds like an exciting return to the course. It includes Shotlink and Trackman shot data, a bevy of shot types, and an RPG leveling system for your created golfer. It's safe to say that the game has far more content at launch than EA's last outing, Rory McIllroy PGA Tour, which replaced the iconic Tiger Woods moniker.
