It’s time to order another round of pizzas as some new content has been announced for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. New DLC titled Dimension Shellshock has been announced and will be bringing more arcade style action to one of the best games of 2022 later this year. Joining the already radical roster of seven playable characters is fan favorite samurai rabbit Usagi Yojimbo, one of the Turtles’ greatest allies a most requested addition by the fans.
In addition to the new playable character the pizza party gets even spicier with other new content. Original soundtrack composer Tee Lopes has been working on some new tunes that will make their debut in Dimension Shellshock along with some alternative color schemes for the playable characters and a new game mode to bring some inter dimensional combat to the heroes in the half shell. Additionally a separate free update will be coming later this year introducing even more color palette options for the Turtles. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge received a free update last December that added a substantial amount of customizable options. Dotemu and Tribute Games state that these free updates were made possible by the totally awesome reception from the fans to Shredder’s Revenge.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is a retro inspired title. It features the cast of characters and locales from the 1987 animated series with gameplay inspired by the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games.
