The alleged NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti cooler continues to leak and we have some more pictures of the card showing its thick frame.
A few days ago, we posted a separate article where we discussed this leaked cooler for what is an alleged GeForce RTX 4090 Ti graphics card. There is no confirmation as to what card this FE cooler belongs to but it is said to be an early prototype that was used for AD102 GPUs. The same cooler has been said to be designed for the RTX 4090, RTX 4090 Ti, and Titan RTX Ada though only NVIDIA RTX 4090 exists at the moment and it doesn't share any resemblance to this beast.
So once again, we get to see the card from various angles, and first up, we have the card compared to the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and the RTX 3090. The first thing you'll be able to notice is that the 4090 Ti (Alleged) is smaller in terms of length but in terms of thickness, it is a beast of a card. The FE card takes up a total of four slots versus the 2 and 2.5-slot designs featured on the other two cards.
You can also notice the placement of the 16-pin power connector which doesn't match up with the PCB placement since the GPU and board are set up vertically in the other direction and a power-cable extender is used that goes through the cooler and connects to the power connector on the opposite side. It is definitely a unique design but it hasn't made it to consumers yet. We might see a similar design on future Founders Edition cards or this prototype will be the only time we get to see it.
The user who listed the card is selling it on the Chinese Goofish platform and has also attached a video of the alleged NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti graphics card which you can see in the tweet below:
