The latest Diablo 4 patch notes show that Blizzard is aiming to make the endgame grind a little bit easier on us with its Diablo 4 1.0.3 update. The beloved RPG game has been taking up a large portion of our time, especially with the grueling grind brought by its endgame. With this new patch, however, you can spend more time gaining substantial experience and less time wishing the later content was more rewarding. From Helltide buffs to Nightmare Dungeon changes, here are the highlights.
A few of the most important Diablo 4 patch changes coming to make the Diablo 4 max level grind less painful include the experience reward buffs. Blizzard is significantly increasing the experience awarded for completing Nightmare Dungeons and killing monsters within them. Helltide chests are also getting a buff, providing substantially more bonus experience when opened. Whispers of the Dead will offer significantly increased experience as a reward, too, across the board.
If you have felt that loot drops are a bit weak, you’ll be glad to know Helltide roaming bosses will now more consistently drop higher-quality loot. You will also be able to teleport to your Nightmare Dungeon directly through the map, and weekly bonus caches from world bosses will no longer have a level requirement for opening. In terms of balance changes, the developers wore that they want all of the classes to feel “fun and powerful” after these updates.
Many of the classes are receiving buffs with this patch, helping bring lesser-used skills into favor. Damage increases, cooldown decreases, and other helpful changes are coming to each class.
