Diablo III covered about the same amount of territory as Diablo II with a return to Tristram, a visit to a more peaceful version of Caldeum, a destroyed Crater of Arreat, and the territory of Westmarch. With so much of the map left to discover, community members have begun speculating about where Diablo 4's expansions might take place. Revisiting previous locations such as Tristram, Kurast, and Westmarch seem to be some possible destinations.
