Destiny 2 fans are puzzled over mixed reports regarding the Wicked Implement exotic and upcoming Scout Rifle that should be dropping during the Season of the Deep. Supposedly, this weapon was aligned in the code to unlock during the second week of the season, May 30, 2023, but it doesn’t appear to show up in the game.
As it stands right now, the exotic weapon has arrived at Destiny 2. It is now available in the game, and players can attempt to acquire it by working their way through the game, and it does have to do with the Deep Dive runs, and the many Broken Blades that you can acquire by fishing.
Everything We Know About The Wicked Implement Exotic in Destiny 2Previously, the Wicked Implement was an exotic weapon that Destiny 2 players thought would arrive in the second week of the Season of the Deep. However, this was not the case, and it’s only now become available on July 4, 2023. The way you go about it involves the newly introduced fishing mechanic, and playing through the Deep Dives.
The first thing you’ll need to do is acquire all three of the Broken Blades. The way you acquire them is by catching three exotic fish in Destiny 2. There is an exotic fish you can catch on Nessus, the EDZ, and the Throne World. An exotic fish will need to be caught from each location, and they will be a hefty time investment. The exotic fish will have broken blades with them.
Now, with the Broken Blades in your inventory, embark on the Deep Dive missions, and you will need to make your way through these missions and place the blades at the appropriate shrines. The first one appears before you start the initial combat encounter after taking the plunge. The second one is to activate the combat enter and make your way to the left side
