2K has announced that NBA 2K24 will feature cross-play for the first time in the series.
Cross-play will only be available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of this year’s game.
2K has also detailed three editions of the game that will be released on September 8, 2023.
The Kobe Bryant Edition, which appears to replace the standard edition of the game this year, will be available for £59.99 / $59.99 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, and £69.99 / $69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The Black Mamba Edition will be available for £89.99 / $89.99 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch and PC. This version includes 100K Virtual Currency and a large amount of MyTeam and MyCareer content.
A 25th Anniversary Edition will be available through September 10, for £129.99 / $129.99 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. It includes a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass as well as the content from the Black Mamba edition.

“While we mark the history of the franchise, NBA 2K24 also looks ahead to the future to bring an innovative leap in technology and the introduction of community-requested features like cross-play.”
