With Patch 10.2.6, players have noticed that crafted gear will be slightly weaker in Season 4 than in Season 3. While in Season 3, crafted gear is capped at 3 item levels under max Myth track, in Season 4, it is capped at 6 ilvls under it.

This can be seen when looking at Aspect's awakened crests.

The Season 4 version is capped at item level 522, which is 6 under the Myth Track cap of 528. The Season 3 version, Enchanted Aspect's Dreaming Crest, is capped at 486, only 3 item levels under the Myth Track cap of 489 in Season 3.
