Fallout's popular TV show is full of mysteries that the show doesn't really explain, ranging from who actually dropped the first atomic bomb, to what the heck the Snake Oil Salesman's serum actually is. Another mystery that the Fallout TV show throws up is the location of the Brotherhood of Steel's headquarters, but one fan thinks they may have figured it out.
Twitter user Ranger_Houston has been doing a bit of digging recently, using one specific shot of the TV show to try and figure out exactly where its chapter of the Brotherhood is based. The shot in question is during the scene that sees several Brotherhood of Steel soldiers standing in a line while a priest walks by them swinging incense, which we know was filmed in the Salt Flats in Utah.
Of course, we know that the show is set in California, so Ranger_Houston has done their best to try and find a location within California that is similar to the Salt Flats, and El Mirage Lake looks like the most likely candidate. Thankfully, the El Mirage Lake is home to the Edwards Air Force Base, which is a rather large and complex military base that would be perfect for Brotherhood occupation.
Adding to the theory that the Brotherhood is based in El Mirage Lake, it's also worth pointing out that General Atomics can also be found in that area too, which is a privately owned company that "develops advanced technology solutions for government and commercial applications". It could be a very funny coincidence, especially since a company of that name features in the Fallout series, but we do know how much the Brotherhood
