BitSummit Drift set for July 19 to 21, 2024
BitSummit Drift, the 12th iteration of the Kyoto-based independent games festival BitSummit, will run from July 19 to 21, 2024, the BitSummit Organization announced.
“Embracing the spirit of ‘BitSummit Drift,’ this year’s event symbolizes the swift and dynamic flow of indie gaming,” reads the press release. “Kyoto, a city with a legacy of game development and home to leading indie studios, sets the stage for this global gathering of creativity and collaboration.”
Independent developers who would like to submit their games to exhibit at BitSummit Drift have until February 29, 2024 to do so. Applications are available here.
The press release continues, “BitSummit Drift is more than a festival; it’s a launchpad for indie developers to showcase their talent. With industry giants in attendance as sponsors, and partnerships with influential Japanese media, developers have the chance to turbocharge their visibility and network with key industry players.”
