Ubisoft has officially announced Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition.
Following multiple leaks, the publisher said the previously unannounced title will be released in early 2024 for unspecified platforms.
The US Entertainment Software Ratings Board classified the game in August for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
Over the past few days, Xbox achievements for the title appeared online and it was also spotted on the Microsoft Store.
Ubisoft also confirmed today that it had mistakenly released an early version of the game to some of its customers.
“Well, looks like the cat’s out of the bag, dagnammit,” it wrote. “Happy 20th anniversary to Beyond Good & Evil! While we cannot wait to show you more about this special edition, more news to come in early 2024!
“An early development version of Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition was recently released to some Ubisoft+ subscribers by mistake,” the company added. “We apologize for any confusion and want to assure our community that this version is not indicative of the final game.
