A new playable clan was revealed for Vampire: the Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 during PC Gamer’s PC Gaming: Most Wanted showcase.
The Banu Haqim were revealed as the third playable clans at launch, surprising fans with its inclusion. With the reveal of the Brujah, Tremere, and now Banu Haqim, only one more playable launch clan is left to be revealed. Paradox does currently have plans for two more playable clans post-launch, but we’re unsure when exactly those would arrive.
Unlike the pugilistic Brujah or sorcerous Tremere, the Banu Haqim are known for their stealthy approach to combat. Those looking for a more tactical approach to playing Bloodlines 2 will want to keep Banu Haqim in mind when customizing Phyre, the game’s Elder vampire protagonist.
A newer addition to the Camarilla, a worldwide sect of vampires within the world of VTM, the Banu Haqim are known as Judges and assassins, following their own moral code and are often selective with who they feed on.
The fourth and final launch clan will be revealed sometime in December. With a curveball like Banu Haqim thrown into the mix, it’s anybody’s guess what the fourth clan will be, though this writer feels we’ll be seeing the Toreador round out the four.
Vampire: the Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 launches in fall 2024 on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com.
