Before the holidays, Larian Studios released a new hotfix for Baldur’s Gate 3. It addresses the usual assortment of progression blockers, crashes and bugs, including an issue that, as the developer calls it, turned characters’ faces into “stretched eldritch horrors with pits of flesh in place of eyes.”
Hotfix #15 also adds Japanese language to PC and PS5 for players in Japan, though it’s also coming to other platforms. The Korean language pack is also enabled on Mac, and those who used mods and couldn’t load their save due to changes should now be able to do so. The issue may still affect some saves, so keep that in mind.
Crashes related to deleted physics objects, the host loading a save file after a Game Over screen or disarming an NPC twice in combat have also been addressed. Check out the full hotfix notes below for more details.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. In addition to hotfixes, it received the hefty Patch 5, which adds a new Epilogue, Honour Mode and more.
