Ash Ketchum's time in the Pokemon spotlight officially came to an end earlier this year, with most fans having already moved onto the new series starring Roy and Liko. However, the English dub of Ash's final episode has only recently hit Netflix, and there's no surprise that it was a pretty sad time for voice actor Sarah Natochenny, who was responsible for the voice behind Ash Ketchum that a lot of you will have grown up with.
To mark the moment in which Ash's final episode hit the platform, Natochenny shared her emotional reaction to seeing the freshly dubbed final scene of the Pokemon anime as it was performed in the studio a few months ago. Natochenny shared the clip via her personal Twitter account (thanks Nintendo Life), in which you can see her break down in tears now that her 17 year stint as Ash Ketchum is at an end.

This was just the fresh dub too, and Natochenny says that she has "no idea if [she] can watch it all now" combined with the music and effects included in the actual episode itself. She's also been joined by original Ash Ketchum voice actor Veronica Taylor, who has also tweeted out a lovely little tribute to the perpetual 10 year old's first episode to mark the end of his time in the Pomemon anime. In the tweet, Taylor says that her time as Ash was an "honor" and that all Pokemon fans should "strive to be our very best."
