According to a recent post by Respawn Entertainment, several fixes to the way promotion and demotion in Apex Legends ranked mode are handled, as well as the way RP loss is displayed, are to be rolled out in the days to come.
February 14 marked the release of season 16 of Apex Legends, with the launch of the much-anticipated Revelry update to the game. Including the new Nemesis weapon, a Team Deathmatch mode, and a shakeup to the Legends archetype formula, the fast-paced battle royale is still going strong four years from its original release. Respawn has seemed to find a balance in its live-service model for Apex Legends, dropping new content at a pace that keeps fans coming back for more.

In a bullet-point list, the tweet claims that players will no longer be inaccurately demoted, will not be shown incorrect visual data on RP loss, and will receive a one-time RP restoration to make up for the current issues. While many fans were pleased with the announcement, some took the opportunity to express their own grievances with the game, asking when Respawn plans to address what they feel are more pressing matters.
