Hello everyone, do any of you cosplay your favorite games, anime characters or series?
I'll need some advice on accessory materials.
I'm just starting out and at the moment I don't feel capable of making my own accessories. Using LEDs and other electronic circuits isn't up my alley at the moment.
I'd go for an anime cosplay, like One Piece or Naruto, and then there's the question of the sword. Any idea how I could make one? Or maybe I'll fall back on sites selling replicas like katanaempire, or others.
But I'm afraid the quality won't be up to scratch.

Hey, I currently cosplay and the more you cosplay, the more you'll begin to think more on the creative side for improving your looks. I have not yet started creating my own pieces but I do buy from different sites. My most used site is cossky.com. I usually buy cosplay pieces from there and then buy accessories from other sites or from a local shop I know of.
A couple of friends use 3D printers to obtain their pieces. However, you have to design them or you can actually take a photo of what you exactly want and the 3D printer will design it for you. But using this method, you would need to paint it, make adjustments, and add certain materials. It takes a lot of time and effort.
I have cosplayed characters from Demon Slayer to Naruto to My Hero Academia to Hunter x Hunter and the list goes on.
OK, I see, I'll have a look around the shops then! There's a 3D printer association near me, so I'm going to ask around to see what's possible. Thank you for your advice.
@TayloJa Good luck bro
