Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will end service on November 29, Nintendo announced.
The mobile Animal Crossing game first launched for iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play on November 21, 2017, and has run for approximately seven years.
A paid version of the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp app is currently in development, to which players will be able to transfer their save data. It will launch during the same period as the end of service.
In addition to save data transfer, the basic gameplay and controls of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will also carry over to the paid app. There will be no in-app purchases or subscriptions. However, since this app will not require a continuous online connection, some features that require that connection will not be available.
