Across 's new location, Neomuna, new collectibles called Apogee Repeaters have been appearing. These first spawned after the Contest Mode of the Root of Nightmares Raid had been completed. Guardians must scour each district in the destination to locate these collectibles. They are often hidden from view and tend to act as small jumping puzzles. Liming Harbor is one area of Neomuna where eight Apogee Repeaters are located.
After collecting an Apogee Repeater, Guardians are rewarded with Neomuna Rank at Nimbus and Strand Meditations. This is helpful for players looking to make some of the best Strand builds in . Additionally, gathering each Apogee Repeater in one location completes the associated Triumph. This is not required to earn the Virtual Fight Title and, for now, serves no other purpose. Initially, some Strand Fragments were locked until after the Contest Mode for Root of Nightmares. However, Bungie unlocked these early for Guardians, leading some players to speculate that the collection of the Apogee Repeaters was required for these Fragments.

Guardians begin with only one Landing Zone when arriving at Neomuna. Upon earning 11 Ranks in with Nimbus, players will unlock two more Landing Zones for easy travel around the map. Guardians wishing to collect the Apogee Repeaters in Liming Harbor will want to reach this milestone. This is because a Landing Zone appears in this region of Neomuna.
