Many things have changed from the original game to the , including the addition of collectible Wind-Up Dolls, also known as Clockwork Catellans, that can be found in each of the 16 chapters. players may recognize these collectibles as a shout-out to the original game’s “robo-Salazar,” a nickname given by fans to the Ramon Salazar statue.
The Clockwork Castellans are spread throughout the game, but there will only be one per chapter. While they can be hard to spot, they make a very loud noise that can be heard when nearby, making them much easier to locate. However, since there is no way to return to general areas after completing them, missing the collectible while there means having to re-do chapters to get it. So it’s advised to grab it the first time to save time. To consider Clockwork Castellans as «collected,» they must be destroyed using a knife or shooting with a weapon like an upgraded Shotgun in .

Players should first create a save at the start of each chapter so that if the Clockwork Castellan is missed, they can return to that chapter again to locate it. Unlike other titles, collectibles can be tracked across different save files.
