Alan Wake 2 Thinks It'll Beat Spider-Man to PS5's Best Graphics of 2023 Crown | Push Square
In the ever-increasing arms race of AAA games development, PlayStation players sure have some lookers to look forward to. Case in point: the just revealed, and really, really, ridiculously good-looking Alan Wake 2, which developer Remedy thinks will beat out heavy-hitters Spider-Man 2 and Assassin's Creed Mirage to be 2023's graphical GOAT.

Communications director Thomas Puha took to Twitter to tout just exactly how badly the developer intends to punish our internal (and proprietary) AMD Oberons this Holiday season, stating: «The Alan Wake 2 trailer in the PlayStation Showcase was 100% running on PlayStation 5.
I want to really point that out. We did say in 2021 that we are gonna push the graphics hard on this one. I think we'll have the best-looking game in 2023» It's tough talk, and Remedy faces some stiff competition, but we love to see it.
