KOTOR 2's Restored Content DLC Has Been Cancelled, Fans Demand Refunds

Last month, those looking forward to Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords promised Restored Content DLC on Switch spotted something rather fishy about developer Aspyr's upload of the game's announcement trailer. Rather strangely, Aspyr had removed all mentions of the Restored Content DLC from the trailer, despite other versions from Nintendo and IGN still including it. Coupled with the lack of any word from Aspyr for months, many came to the conclusion that the DLC had been quietly cancelled.

Unfortunately, it looks like those conclusions were accurate, as Aspyr has now released a statement via its official Twitter account confirming the DLC's cancellation. Aspyr doesn't provide any reasons as to why the DLC is being cancelled, simply stating that it will "not be moving forward for release." Instead, those who purchased the game are being offered a Nintendo Switch key for a Star Wars game of their choosing from a list of Aspyr published titles.
