The Epic Games Store’s next free title has been announced.
The Hunter: Call of the Wild will be free to download from Epic’s PC marketplace from June 22-29.
“Experience an atmospheric hunting game like no other in this realistic and visually breathtaking open world,” says developer and publisher Expansive Worlds.
“Immerse yourself in the atmospheric single player campaign, or share the ultimate hunting experience with friends.”
The Hunter: Call of the Wild will replace Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition and Guacamelee! 2, which are now free to claim until June 22.
The Epic Games Store gave away 99 free titles last year (up from 89 in 2021). These games had a combined worth of $2,240 and users claimed over 700 million free titles (down from 765 million in 2021), according to Epic.
The company recently suggested players should expect to see further high-profile Epic Games Store exclusives announced in the future.
Epic launched Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3: Wilds last week.
“The center of the Island has collapsed, revealing a vast, hidden jungle with ancient secrets to discover. Ascend to canopies, ride raptors, and slide in the mud for speed and camouflage,” it said.
“Detect enemies with the Thermal DMR, skid on vines while firing the FlapJack Rifle, or transform opponents into spectators with the Cybertron Cannon.”
