Xbox released another major update for members of the Xbox Insiders program, with a number of fixes for Game Clubs, the Home screen, and more features. The new update comes just one day removed from the March 28 Xbox Insiders update, which fixed a bug involving dynamic backgrounds on Xbox.
The Xbox Insiders program allows members to test out features and try out preview versions of OS builds that will be deployed to all Xbox Series X|S users at a later date. Earlier this month, the program improved the Xbox Store's search functionality by letting users search for keywords and other useful tags instead of game titles. On March 28, a new Xbox Insiders update also fixed dynamic background bugs and improved the local language support.
The new Xbox Insiders update for Beta members targets bugs that were affecting Game Clubs, Home, and Settings, and additional tweaks to local language support were applied as well. After installing the update, Xbox Insiders should notice that the «Like» tooltip in Game Clubs will no longer activate unexpectedly in the Watch area when focus is on the filter. The Home screen receives a bug fix that addresses some tiles not appearing or navigating as intended. This issue affected Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members attempting to access their Perks. The last fix applies to the Access Restrictions option in Settings, allowing players to disable the installation of new apps and games. Previously, the Access Restrictions option did not disable the installation process in certain instances due to a bug.
Xbox is still working on known issues from the previous Xbox Insiders update, including audio problems that members experienced in previous preview builds. In addition, some members are facing issues where the Xbox console may not connect immediately to the network upon boot. Members can report bugs they encounter by using the Report a Problem page, which will help Xbox prepare future updates for general users outside the Xbox Insiders program.
