Microsoft has confirmed two more day one games for Xbox Game Pass in March 2023, and they will seemingly be the final additions to the service for the month. Xbox Game Pass subscribers are treated to new games on a regular basis, with additions spread out across the month. This is in contrast to how Sony handles its PS Plus Extra and Premium games, as they are often all added on the same day.
Regardless, today has been an exciting day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Microsoft started the day by adding Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom — The Prince's Edition to Xbox Game Pass, and while the game was previously released for other platforms, it could arguably still be considered a day one release for Game Pass. After all, Ni no Kuni 2 is making its Xbox debut as a Game Pass game.
New Day One Game Confirmed for Xbox Game Pass
Not only were Xbox Game Pass subscribers treated to Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom — The Prince's Edition, but they were also shown the final two games that will be joining Game Pass in the month of March. Both games were previously announced, but now Xbox Game Pass has given the official confirmation. PlayStation-published MLB The Show 23 will join Xbox Game Pass on March 28, while rhythm-based RPG Infinite Guitars hits the lineup on March 30. Both are day one games.
When MLB The Show 23 comes to Xbox Game Pass on March 28, it will do so with cloud and console versions available. Infinite Guitars, meanwhile, will have cloud, console, and PC versions available. All things considered, Xbox Game Pass subscribers should have plenty of options when it comes to playing the new Xbox Game Pass games for March 2023.
