Even though the PS5 Slim hasn't been out long, it looks like Sony is in the process of working on an even newer version of its current gen console.
There have been plenty of leaks and rumours, and more speculation than one human could digest. From 8K resolution, to the dreaded digital only status, internet voices have been loud about the PlayStation 5 Pro.
Now, however, there's been even more leaks (including what looks like an accidental reveal).
So let's take another look at the PS5 Pro rumours.
The existence of a PS5 Pro has not been officially confirmed by Sony at the time of writing.
However, there has been a leak from insider, and what looks like an accidental design reveal, in the last couple of days. These are definitely worth investigating!
With regards to the first one, this comes from a fairly reliable leaker who goes by the name of Lunatic Ignus. They shared on their Discord that PlayStation would make a big announcement sometime next week, followed by a State of Play later in the month. It's certainly a possibility these events could be all about the PS5 Pro.
And the accidental leak, while a strange one, does look to show the existence of a new PS5 model. In an official blog post, PlayStation shared an image that celebrates 30 years since the first console dropped. There's a faint banner in the background which shows Sony's various gaming hardware since then, but there's a mysterious new design among them.
It looks like a PS5 Slim, but it had grooves in the back that aren't in any model currently on the market. Could this be the PS5 Pro? It isn't an official announcement, but it could be an tease (or, as we said, an accident).
