The British summertime is in full effect, and I’ve been doing the right thing by braving the beach and getting sunburnt despite then being soaked through by a rainstorm a few hours later. There’s definitely been time for some gaming as well, and I’ve been spending a whole heap of time with Baldur’s Gate 3 as I attempt to deliver our review. It’s a BIG game! I’ve also been playing the brilliant Thronefall, based on Aran’s recommendation, and he was right! (You should listen to him too)
In a topsy-turvy world, we’ll start with Tef this week who’s played F1 Manager 23. He tells us, “I’ve continued to struggle with rescuing McLaren from the doldrums of the early 2023 season. I should probably start over with a different team at this point… I also played a couple games that I can’t quite talk about just yet.” So… keep an eye out for those previews, I guess?
Coming back to Aran, he has been playing Thronefall for review, “which is brilliant, and the XIII remake which is decent enough. I’ve also been playing Moving Out in real life, as I move into my new house this weekend.”
Gareth has been played Atlas Fallen for review that should pop up next week, and Diablo IV. He’s not been well though, saying, “I also have a sore throat, which isn’t relevant, but I’m feeling sorry for myself.” Get well soon mate!
Jim was able to cross another game off his backlog after tiptoeing around it for a long time. He says, “Outer Wilds is so cleverly put together and had me rocketing around the galaxy like some kind of spacefaring sleuth, piecing together what happened to the ancient Nomai and why the sun implodes on a 22-minute loop.
