Is this one of the best weeks in PS5 history? It's certainly up there. Three major new critically acclaimed games launched over the last few days: Silent Hill 2, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, and Metaphor ReFantazio. That's a killer selection.
On top of my near daily grind of The Finals, I'm going to try and wrap up my playthrough of Silent Hill 2.
I'm going to be diving into top-down action of Kill Knight, which caught my attention all the way back in the Spring and by all accounts is fantastic. I'll also be dipping into continuing my Metaphor: ReFantazio playthrough which I have loved so far.
I'll be making a dent in my backlog and playing more Dishonored 2. I just beat the Clockwork Mansion level and can understand why everyone called it a masterpiece. I've got a Corvo mask tattoo so I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to play this gem.
I’m checking out Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion for review, and so that will take up the lion’s share of my game time. But Metaphor: ReFantazio is out, and I managed to put a full 10 hours into the demo; going to have to find time to beat that first dungeon boss, too!
I haven't had a chance to play Astro Bot for a little while, so I'll be cracking on with that alongside my usual live service games.
This weekend I'm going to finish Silent Hill 2 remake, inevitably have a bit of a breakdown after getting the Water ending, then probably grind out Sparking Zero for the remainder.
I'm playing something for review right now, so that'll be the focus for me — but I may try to squeeze in some time with Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition. I've been really enjoying revisiting this old favourite.
That's everything we're playing this weekend, then — a good mixture of stuff, and not nearly as much Metaphor as expected. What are you playing, dear readers? Let us know below.
